    Ans (a) Lord Dalhousie The last major extension of British Indian territory took place during the period of Lord Dalhousie under his Doctrine of Lapse. He captured Jhansi, Satara, Jaitpur, Sambalpur, Udaipur and Nagpur under the Doctrine of Lapse and Awadh on the basis of misgovernance.

    Ist case: Buy a pen = 3 free refills 2nd case: Buy a pen + 6 refills = 4 free refills The extra 6 refills bought in the 2nd case give 1 additional free refill. Therefore, the 1 extra free refill is worth 1/6 of what paid for. If the equivalent discount is the same in both cases 3 free refills = 1/6Read more
